Madison County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, retrieve an official booking record, or supply an intake photo. Contact the office that created or holds the record.
Madison County Records Contacts
The sheriff and jail are the first contacts for a county booking question. The sheriff's records page does not publish a local fee table or office-hours schedule. It says receipt will be confirmed by call or email and access will be scheduled. For urgent custody questions, use the jail line rather than waiting on a records request.

Use the jail line for urgent current-custody questions. Use the sheriff request form for an existing booking sheet or intake photograph.
Use the MCSO Open Records Request for a booking or intake record. Under Georgia’s Open Records Act, the agency should produce existing records as soon as practicable or give a timetable, estimated cost, and cited exemption within three business days when immediate production is not possible.
The separate accident and incident report form is for reports and says to allow several days for officer completion and processing. It is not the booking-photo request.
Where to Ask for a Record
Choose the custodian based on the record and custody state. A city incident report, county booking sheet, court disposition, state-corrections profile, and federal locator record are not interchangeable.
- For a Madison County booking or intake photo, start with MCSO and name the booking sheet and photo separately.
- For someone believed to be in the jail now, call Madison County Jail at 706-795-6211 or use the official offender index.
- For a Comer incident, contact Comer Police at 706-783-0077 or comerpd@cityofcomer.com. The city has no verified public blotter.
- For a Danielsville city incident, start with City Hall at 10 Government Circle, 706-795-2189, or cityhall@cityofdanielsville.us. City and county custodians are separate.
- For a Colbert municipal record, contact City Hall at 60 West First Avenue, 706-788-2311. A functioning police records portal was not verified.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE detainee locator, as appropriate.
For a warrant or tip question, use Most Wanted Fugitives for the MCSO warrant line and anonymous tip route. For a court outcome, contact the court named in the record.
Questions about a court outcome should go to the court named in the booking, warrant, citation, or case record. The Georgia Courts e-access directory can route a reader to the proper provider. A booking charge is an accusation, not a final disposition.
